BM&S to Sponsor “Working Parenthood During COVID” Event October 23
The Westchester County Bar Association’s Law Practice Management Committee and CLE Committee, and the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University’s Women in Law Committee will present an online event, “Working Parenthood During COVID“, featuring Danielle Pickens, founder and CEO of The Working Parent’s Guide.
The online event will be held October 23, 2020, from 12:00-1:00 pm ET. Registration information can be found on the WCBA website.
Danielle’s presentation, which is sponsored by Black Marjieh & Sanford LLP, will explore strategies for coping as a working parent during the pandemic.
Danielle coaches busy working parents to make their mark without becoming a martyr. As a first-time mom more than a decade ago, she struggled with burnout as she juggled managing a team of 50+ and her role as a new parent. Frustrated with the status quo, she knew there had to be a better way. Over time, she developed a new approach to working parenthood: “Do less to do better.” She has since coached more than 150 leaders to succeed without sacrificing what they value most.
Now a mom of three, Danielle’s on a mission to guide others on their own journey through working parenthood with less stress and more joy (and sleep). She offers her clients guidance and deep expertise in designing flexible and career-enhancing work opportunities, simplifying the tasks of day-to-day life, and learning to say no graciously.
In addition to helping working parents navigate a path that works for them, Danielle is the Chief Program Officer for a national education nonprofit, The Urban Schools Human Capital Academy.
