Black Marjieh & Sanford LLP Team Volunteers at Feeding Westchester
The Black Marjieh & Sanford LLP team once again donated their time and effort to support Feeding Westchester, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping food-insecure residents of Westchester County. This marks another year of BM&S’s ongoing commitment to making a meaningful impact in the community.
On Friday, November 8th, BM&S team members volunteered at Feeding Westchester’s distribution center in Elmsford, packing essential food items to support the organization’s efforts in nourishing neighbors and combating hunger. The team packed an impressive 8 totes of bread, 5 pallets of frozen meals, and 4 pallets of desserts. The bread totes will accompany orders of fresh produce delivered to community sites across Westchester, ensuring that families receive balanced and nutritious options.
Feeding Westchester plays a central role in the fight against hunger, working with nearly 300 partners and programs to distribute food and resources throughout the county. Beyond meeting immediate nutritional needs, the organization is committed to building a sustainable future for Westchester residents facing food insecurity.
BM&S’s continued involvement in these volunteer activities reflects the firm’s dedication to community engagement and social responsibility. Their contributions range from monetary donations to hands-on service, highlighting a deep commitment to uplifting the community and supporting causes that resonate with their associates, staff, and partners.
“Service to our community remains a cornerstone of our firm’s philosophy,” said BM&S Founding Partner Lisa Black. “Our time with Feeding Westchester is a heartfelt expression of our commitment. It’s about lending hands where they’re needed and filling hearts as much as plates. We are proud to be part of an effort that brings nourishment and hope to our neighbors, especially as the holiday season approaches.”
