Seven BM&S Attorneys Recognized by Super Lawyers® for 2024 Honors
Black Marjieh & Sanford LLP is pleased to announce seven of its attorneys have been recognized by Super Lawyers® for 2024 honors. Five BM&S attorneys were named to the 2024 New York Metro Super Lawyers list and two BM&S attorneys were named 2024 New York Metro Rising Stars.
Partners Lisa J. Black, Dana K. Marjieh, Sheryl A. Sanford, Steven R. Lau, and John W. Bieder have been selected as 2024 Super Lawyers.
Partner Nicholas O. Paslow and Associate Corinne Scotti have been named 2024 Rising Stars.
This is the seventh straight year Black and Sanford have received the Super Lawyer distinction. This is the sixth consecutive year Lau has been named a Super Lawyer, and the sixth straight year Paslow has been honored as a Rising Star.
“We are honored to see seven of our talented attorneys recognized with these prestigious accolades,” said founding partner Lisa Black. “This recognition highlights the dedication, expertise, and teamwork that drive our success at BM&S. We are proud of our attorneys’ achievements and commitment to providing the highest level of service to our clients.”
Super Lawyers selects attorneys on the basis of peer nominations and evaluations, as well as independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis.
The selection process for the Rising Stars list is the same as the Super Lawyers selection process, with one exception: to be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.
Less than five percent of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers and less than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.
